Course Design and Development

Successful courses and workshops are no accident - they are designed intentionally to engage the participant dynamic, interactive learning that inspires and energizes.  Linda designs courses that promote integrating new information into current practice, and encourages continuous quality improvement.

My course design and teaching style includes:

  • Achievable and measurable learning objectives;
  • Up-to-date information based on research in the field of early education and care;
  • Acknowledgement and respect for the learners' own experiences and knowledge;
  • Activities to reach auditory visual, kinesthetic, and other diverse learners;
  • Flexible teaching style for individualizing each group's unique and specific learning needs;
  • Stories and examples from 30+ years of teaching children;
  • A sense of humor and fun!

Coaching may be available to facilitate putting new information and strategies into practice.

Contact Linda to discuss the professional development needs of your audience.  She will choose from her extensive course library (see Course Descriptions) or design a learning experience to meet your specific needs.
